🐯 TIGER FAMILY UPDATE | WEEK 2.6

Welcome to Week 2.6, Tiger Families! πŸ’™ This week marks the end of the second six weeks, and we want every Tiger to finish strong! Please encourage your student to attend every class, complete assignments, and seek help when needed. Consistent effort and strong attendance make a difference!

πŸ“Š END OF THE SIX WEEKS β€” CHECK GRADES AND ATTENDANCE

Please take time to review your student’s grades and attendance. Talk with your Tiger about missing assignments, tutorial opportunities, and what needs to be completed before the grading period ends.

If you have questions, please reach out to your student’s teachers first. They are the best source of information about classroom performance, assignments, and attendance in their classes. Communicating directly with teachers helps families receive clear information and timely support.

πŸš— DISMISSAL SAFETY β€” KEEP DRIVING AND FIRE LANES CLEAR

When picking up your student, please park in a designated parking space while you wait. Do not stop or park in driving lanes or fire lanes.

Vehicles waiting in these lanes create backups, block traffic, and make it unsafe for students and staff walking to the parking lot. Fire lanes must also remain clear for emergency access.

Seeing another vehicle stopped in a restricted area does not make it acceptable to do the same. Every driver is responsible for following these expectations. Please help us keep dismissal safe and traffic moving by waiting in a parking space until your student arrives.

πŸ”₯ PARADE AND BURNING OF THE C β€” MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2

Our postponed Homecoming Parade and Burning of the C will take place Monday, November 2! We look forward to bringing our Tiger community together to celebrate our students, traditions, and school pride.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we rescheduled these special events!

πŸ“΅ PHONES AWAY β€” FOCUS ON LEARNING

Please remind your Tiger to follow campus phone expectations and keep phones put away during instructional time. Texting, scrolling, and other phone distractions take attention away from learning.

We appreciate your partnership in helping students stay engaged and make the most of every class period.

⏰ ON TIME, EVERY DAY β€” SCHOOL STARTS AT 8:50 A.M.

Students should arrive before 8:50 a.m. so they are in class and ready to learn when school begins. Please plan breakfast and drink stops early enough to avoid arriving late.

Punctuality matters throughout the day. Encourage your Tiger to move promptly between classes and arrive ready to participate in every class, every day.

πŸ’™ THANK YOU, TIGER FAMILIES!

Your involvement helps our Tigers succeed. Thank you for checking grades and attendance, communicating with teachers, and supporting safe dismissal procedures. Let’s finish the second six weeks with focus, responsibility, and Tiger pride!
